The joys and cheers of Early Childhood were celebrated at Gympie South State School on Friday, 11^th September with their annual “Under 8’s Day”!

The warm September afternoon allowed all the students to come together as one and celebrate their childhood with a variety of engaging, hands-on activities.

From fairy bread making, to weaving, collage and face painting – all our Under 8’s enjoyed the opportunity to play, learn and explore with their peers.

A special thank you needs to be expressed to the parents who assisted with supervision for the afternoon, parents and businesses who donated materials to make our activities a success and the fantastic staff of Gympie South who put hours of preparation into the event!! 

We look forward to celebrating our Under 8’s in 2010!
